Cape Cod Survives First Blizzard of 2013

by Hyannis Holiday 13. February 2013 21:24

All is well now on Cape Cod after the first blizzard of 2013, our village of Hyannis recieved approximately 14 inches of snow with snow drift as high as 4 feet and wind gust over 80 MPH. Numerous trees and telephone poles blew down blocking some major roads, we lost power on Saturday, Feb 9th night for 96 hours yet there are still some household and businesses as of today that are still without power. I have attached some photos of the storm courtesy the Cape Cod Times. We are so looking forward to spring at this point only several weeks ahead.
