Boston Marathon helps to fight cancer with my niece Caitlin's running!

by Hyannis Holiday 11. November 2011 07:20

My niece Caitlin has been accepted to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies team in training for the 2012 Boston Marathon. She will be running the marathon on Monday April 16th as an official runner with a number and all. She has a minimum goal of raising $4,000 and she is already a third of the way there, thanks to her amazing friends, family, and community.  Last year was a tough one for Caitlin and her family, for so many more than just her mother who was fighting cancer. Her mother is back in action and stronger than ever thanks in large part to all of you for your support, love and care. In return to show her appreciation for everyone she will run this marathon for all of you as well. Caitlin’s family received help in time of need now she wishes to extend that to others and hopefully find the cure for all cancer. She will run for anyone who has ever had to face cancer and for all those families affected by it. She runs in the honor of her mother and in gratitude for you all.

Please support my niece Caitlin as she runs for a cure in the upcoming Boston Marathon this April.  Caitlin’s Fundraising Page: http://bit.ly/tpRCkL   Thank You!
